Background:Fishing gear materials are the key foundation of fishery production, covering five major categories of products such as nets, nets, ropes, floats and sinkers. Since its release in 1983, the GB/T 3939 series of standards has undergone several revisions to meet the technical needs of fishery development.
Technical evolution:This revision (replacing GB/T3939.1—2004) mainly adds the code for net fiber materials, optimizes the marking system, and adds new net specifications and classifications, especially the marking requirements for polyamide monofilament and mixed lines are more detailed.

1. Monofilament

Definition:A net line made by combining multiple monofilaments or single yarns by twisting.

3. Braided Netting Twine
Definition:A netting wire made of multiple strands interlaced and interwoven.
Practical application:For example, the fishing net wire made of polyethylene monofilament and polypropylene monofilament is often used to make fishing nets with excellent corrosion resistance.
