Scope
This standard is suitable for testing the working performance of ultrasonic testing systems under testing site conditions. Ultrasonic testing system refers to the equipment used in actual testing work. Including A-type pulse reflection ultrasonic detector, ultrasonic probe and high-frequency cables connecting them. During testing, only the standard test blocks specified in this standard need to be used without any electronic equipment. This standard only specifies the test methods for the performance of ultrasonic testing systems, but does not propose system performance indicators or its acceptance conditions. This standard only applies to manual testing and does not apply to automated ultrasonic testing. This standard only applies to systems including general contact ultrasonic straight probes or inclined probes, and does not apply to systems including other types of ultrasonic probes (such as dual element, water immersion, etc.).
