This standard is suitable for testing the workpiece performance of ultrasonic flaw detection systems under on-site flaw detection conditions. Ultrasonic flaw detection system refers to the equipment used in actual flaw detection work, including A-type pulse reflection ultrasonic flaw detector, ultrasonic probes and high-frequency cables connecting them. During testing, only the standard test blocks specified in this standard need to be used without any electronic equipment. This standard only specifies the test methods for the performance of ultrasonic flaw detection systems, but does not propose system performance indicators or its acceptance conditions. When necessary, the supply and demand parties can negotiate in advance to specify the minimum performance indicators that the ultrasonic flaw detection system used when accepting products should achieve. This standard is not applicable to testing the performance of single pieces of ultrasonic flaw detectors or ultrasonic probes. When testing one of the individual components individually, the test can be carried out separately according to JB/T 10061 and JB/T 10062, but appropriate electronic instruments must be equipped. This standard only applies to manual flaw detection and does not apply to automated ultrasonic flaw detection. This standard only applies to systems including general contact ultrasonic straight probes or oblique probes, and does not apply to systems including other types of ultrasonic probes (such as dual element, water immersion, etc.).
