Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements for security technology of Ethernet switches with IPv6 routing functions, including security threats and security service requirements for the data forwarding plane, control plane and management plane, as well as authentication and verification, data protection, system function protection, resource allocation, Eight security functional requirements include security audit, security management, trusted channel/path and system access. This standard applies to Ethernet switch equipment that supports the IPv6 protocol and has routing functions.
