- This standard specifies the security technical requirements for mid- to low-end router equipment that supports unicast applications of the IPv4 protocol, including data forwarding plane security, control plane security, management plane security, etc. This standard is applicable to mid- to low-end router equipment that supports unicast applications of the IPv4 protocol. It is not applicable to mid-to-low-end router equipment that supports multicast applications of the IPv4 protocol.
