Scope

This standard applies to pipes with profiled walls and smooth inner surfaces in accordance with DIN 16961-1. It shall be noted that for particular application existing European product standards are to be complied with. Some of these European product standards have been included in the bibilography for information. Since European Standards are subject to continous revision, the list is not exhaustive.
