Scope

This standard specifies the white sample card for evaluating whiteness in textile testing and its use. The whiteness evaluation of yarn and loose fibers can be used as a reference. This standard provides the precise whiteness values of each grade of white sample cards, which can be used as a permanent record for comparison of newly produced white sample cards, as well as white sample cards that may change during storage or use.
