Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of railway diesel locomotive diesel engine oil (zinc-containing oil) prepared from paraffin-based base oil and various additives. This standard applies to diesel engine oil for railway diesel locomotives.
