- DL/T 890.405 Generic Events and Subscriptions specifies a generic interface for efficient exchange of information. This section considers the delays caused by and across LANs that provide efficient data exchange. The common event and subscription API is expected to provide a primary means of achieving application integration. Outside the scope of the GES API, other APIs address issues such as high performance and real-time interaction requirements for applications in the running system, as well as general data access for requests and responses.
