Scope: This standard specifies the test and evaluation methods for the anti-mite performance of textiles using the repelling method and the inhibiting method. This standard is applicable to various textile products such as down, fiber, yarn, fabric and products. Among them, the repellent method is applicable to all textile products; the inhibition method is applicable to products that are not washed frequently, for example, fillings (cotton, down, etc.) and carpets. This standard does not involve the evaluation of the safety of anti-mite products.
