Scope
This standard specifies the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) limits, performance criteria and measurement methods for broadband customer network equipment and its auxiliary equipment based on public telecommunications networks. This standard applies to broadband customer network equipment (gateways, adaptation equipment and network terminal equipment) based on public telecommunications networks and their auxiliary equipment. Unless otherwise specified, the broadband customer networks appearing in this standard all refer to broadband customer networks based on public telecommunications networks, and telecommunications networks all refer to public telecommunications networks.
