Scope

This standard specifies the safety requirements, test methods, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, installation and use requirements for civilian coal-fired heating stoves. This standard applies to residential coal-fired heating stoves that use briquettes as fuel. This standard does not apply to domestic water heating coal stoves.
