Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, installation and use requirements, markings, product installation and operation instructions, transportation, and storage for civilian coal-fired heating stoves. This standard applies to residential coal-fired heating stoves that use briquettes as fuel. This standard does not apply to domestic water heating coal stoves.
