Scope

This standard specifies the load and deceleration smoke emission limit standards and determination methods, measurement methods, measurement results and data recording requirements for road diesel vehicles. This standard is applicable to compression ignition engines using diesel engines as fuel and with a maximum total mass greater than 400kg. Vehicles in use with a maximum design speed equal to or greater than 50km/h
