Scope
This part of GB/T 16462 specifies the evaluation of the thermal deformation of the machine tool structure and positioning system of CNC lathes and turning centers. This part applies to CNC lathes and turning centers with linear axis travel up to 2000mm. CNC lathes and turning centers with a linear axis stroke greater than 2000mm can also be used as a reference. This part specifies three inspection methods, namely: - ambient temperature change error inspection; - thermal deformation inspection caused by spindle rotation; - thermal deformation inspection caused by linear axis movement. It should be noted that no specific tolerance values are given for the tests described in this section.
