Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of Jilin Changbaishan ginseng, the protection scope of geographical indication products, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, labels, packaging, transportation and storage. This standard applies to Jilin Changbai Mountain ginseng approved for protection by the national quality supervision, inspection and quarantine administrative department in accordance with the "Regulations on the Protection of Geographical Indication Products". When ginseng is used as medicine, it should follow the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China (the latest version).
