This standard specifies the liquid chromatographic method for the determination of 11-aminoundecanoic acid in food simulants. This standard is applicable to the determination of 11-aminoundecanoic acid in water, 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution, 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution and other water-based food simulants and olive oil. The lower limit of determination of 11-aminoundecanoic acid in water-based food simulants was 0.8 mg/L, and the lower limit of determination of 11-aminoundecanoic acid in olive oil was 0.8 mg/kg.
