Scope: This standard specifies the nursing principles, measures and recovery nursing requirements for acute radiation sickness from external exposure. This standard applies to the nursing care of patients with acute radiation sickness caused by high-dose external radiation in nuclear and radiation accidents, and also applies to the nursing of patients with acute radiation sickness caused by iatrogenic external radiation caused by hematopoietic stem cell transplantation pretreatment.
