- Scope
- This standard specifies the test method for Rockwell hardness (HRB) testing of cold-rolled thin steel plates. This standard is applicable to the indirect determination of Rockwell hardness (HRB) of cold-rolled thin steel plates. It is a supplementary method when the direct determination of Rockwell hardness is not applicable (if there are traces of deformation on the back of the sample, its Rockwell hardness cannot be measured directly).
