This standard is applicable to extruded insulated cables fixedly laid with rated voltage 150/250V (300V) (see Chapter 4). It is mainly used for shielded and unshielded cables for control and instrument circuits of ships and offshore devices. For the various types of cables listed in Chapter 8, unless otherwise specified in this standard, the structural requirements and test methods shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 20637-2006. Purposes of this standard: ——Aim to standardize the cables selected and installed according to the requirements of GB/T 13029.1-2003, so as to ensure their safety and reliability; ——Specify the production requirements of cables and the characteristics directly or indirectly related to safety; — It specifies the test method for checking whether the product meets the requirements of this standard.
