Scope

This standard specifies the process and requirements for safety standardization by chlor-alkali production enterprises (hereinafter referred to as enterprises). This standard applies to enterprises in the People's Republic of China that use the membrane method or ion exchange membrane method to electrolyze sodium chloride or potassium chloride aqueous solution technology to produce chlorine, hydrogen, sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide and other products. Manufacturers that produce chlorine gas through other technological routes can refer to the implementation.
