- Scope
- This standard applies to motor starting capacitors intended to be connected to the windings of asynchronous motors supplied by single-phase systems with frequencies up to and including 100 Hz. This standard applies to motor starter metallized capacitors with paper or plastic film or a combination of both, impregnated or unimpregnated, and motor starter electrolytic capacitors with non-solid electrolyte, with a rated voltage of 660V and below.
