Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage, basic content of product samples and manuals, etc. of combined air-conditioning units (units for short). This standard applies to units that use functional sections as combined units and can perform one or several processing functions such as air delivery, mixing, heating, cooling, dehumidification, humidification, filtration, noise reduction, and heat recovery. Refrigerants are brine, ethylene glycol, direct evaporator coils and units with electric heaters, which can be used as reference. This standard does not apply to air conditioners (devices), fan coil units, heaters, etc. with their own cooling and heat sources.
