Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, test methods, comparison samples, test equipment, test conditions and procedures, results, test reports, etc. of round steel eddy current testing. This standard is applicable to eddy current flaw detection of surface and near-surface defects of round steel (including steel wire) with a diameter of 2mm~100mm. Other specifications can refer to this standard.
