This part applies to all types of high-voltage current-limiting fuses for indoor and outdoor use in AC power systems with a nominal voltage of 3 kV and above and a frequency of 50 Hz. The fuses of some fuses are equipped with indicating devices or strikers. These fuse terms are within the scope of this section, but the correct action after the striker is combined with the switchgear tripping mechanism is not within the scope of this section, see GB16926.
