Scope
This part of GB/T 10066 applies to industrial microwave heating equipment and devices for thermal processing of materials containing water or moisture. These applications include the heating and drying of partially conductive or non-conductive materials such as wood, fabrics, paper, food, or materials that exhibit a heating effect to microwaves, in a natural and protected atmosphere such as inert or vacuum. For other materials (such as plastics), the test method is under consideration. This section involves microwave heating equipment and devices with a frequency of 300MHz~300GHz, which operate normally under continuous rated conditions. Devices operating at the lower end of the microwave spectrum (ie between 300MHz and 600GHz) may use vacuum tubes or other microwave transmitters. If the output power measurement system specified in this part cannot be used for some special applications in this frequency range, those measurement systems in GB/T 10066.9 can be used. The main purpose of this Part is to specify the method for determining the output power of industrial microwave heating devices. Due to the wide range of microwave heating applications, any output power obtained from these tests should not be used as the power consumption value of a specific microwave heating device product for a certain load, but in some cases, the output power value can be used to represent the device. performance.
