Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, nickel, aluminum, titanium, copper, cobalt, boron, vanadium, molybdenum and niobium by glow discharge atomic emission spectrometry. This standard applies to the determination of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, nickel, aluminum, titanium, copper, cobalt, boron, vanadium, molybdenum and niobium in low alloy steel. The determination range of each element is listed in Table 1.
