GB/T 11348.5-2008 Mechanical vibration-Evaluation of machine vibration by measurements on rotating shafts.Part 5:Machine sets in hydraulic power generating and pumping plants (English Version)
The guidelines given in this part of GB/T 11348 are applicable to the assessment of shaft vibration measured at or near bearings of hydroelectric power plants and pumping station units under normal operating conditions. These criteria are developed in terms of vibration values under steady-state operating conditions and possible amplitude variations of these values. This part is applicable to hydroelectric power plants and pumping station units, the rated speed of which is 60r/min~1800r/min, the type of bearing bush is cylindrical or block bearing, and the power of the main engine is greater than or equal to 1MW. The position of the axis can be vertical, horizontal, or at any angle to either direction. The unit applicable to this section has the following combinations: a) turbine and turbine generator; b) pump and motor running as a motor; c) pump-turbine and motor-generator; d) turbine, pump and motor-generator set (typically storage unit). Includes auxiliary equipment (such as on-line starting turbines or exciters). This section also applies to turbines or pumps connected to generators or motors through gears or radial elastic couplings. This Part does not apply to the following machines: a) pumps in thermal power plants or industrial equipment (see GB/T 11348.3 for such machines); b) hydraulic machines with rolling bearings; c) hydraulic machines with bearings lubricated with water. According to the provisions of GB/T 11348.1, the tasks of measuring the shaft vibration of hydroelectric power plants and pumping stations are as follows: a) task A: changes in vibration characteristics; b) task B: excessive dynamic load; c) task C: radial gap monitoring.
