Scope
This standard specifies the specific requirements for the food safety management system of meat and meat product manufacturers, including human resources, prerequisite programs, key process control, inspection, product traceability and withdrawal. This standard cooperates with GB/T 22000 to apply to the establishment, implementation and self-evaluation of food safety management systems of meat and meat product manufacturers, and can also be used for external evaluation and certification of food safety management systems of such manufacturers. When this standard is used for certification purposes, it should be used together with GB/T 22000.
