- This standard applies to DC bridges used for measuring resistance, and also to auxiliary equipment attached to bridges. This standard does not apply to bridge comparators, self-balancing bridges and those bridges whose partial indication is obtained by means of a zero gauge scale, nor does it apply to external auxiliary equipment used with the bridge.
