Scope

This standard specifies the tolerances, structural elements and inspection methods of integral thin-walled flanged bearings with an outer diameter D₀ to 250mm and flangeless thin-walled bearings with an outer diameter D₀ to 500mm. Due to the change of structural design, the size of the bearing bush is not uniformly regulated. Bearings conforming to this standard are intended primarily for reciprocating engines and consist of a steel back with one or more layers of bearing alloy on the inside. On reciprocating engines, flanged bearings and flangeless bearings can be used at the same time. Flangeless bearings can be used together with two semicircular thrust washers in accordance with GB/T 10447, or bearings with combined flanges, instead of integral flanged bearings.
