Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the test method for environmental stress cracking of polyethylene. 1.2 This standard is applicable to the determination of polyethylene homopolymers and other copolymers whose olefin monomer content is less than 50% (mass fraction) and non-olefin monomers with functional groups are not more than 3% (mass fraction)? Ability to resist environmental stress cracking under specified conditions.
