Scope

This standard specifies the size, performance and safety requirements for winches installed on self-propelled forestry machinery. This standard applies to fixed and detachable winches and their parts installed on self-propelled forestry machinery (such as skidders and forwarders defined in GB/T 19365). It also applies to installation on agricultural machinery for Winches for forestry skidding operations. This standard does not apply to winches installed on ropeway loaders, pole loaders, ropeway skidding systems and loading bridges for lifting operations.
