Scope

This standard specifies the general principles and requirements for the design and use of machine safety labels securely affixed to earth-moving machinery, outlines the purpose of the marking, specifies the basic form and color, and provides guidance for the development of the various component bands of the safety label. This standard applies to earth-moving machinery as defined in ISO 6165.
