- Scope
- This Standard specifies fluorescent lamp luminaires for commercial, industrial pub- lic lighting which employ fluorescent lamp of an input voltage not exceeding a.c. 300 V as their light source, and are connected with their power supply wires without using such connectors as attachment plugs and hang-type ceiling rosettes. The fluorescent lamp used by this Standard shall be those specified in JIS C 7601, or at least equiva- lent thereto in performances. The fluorescent lamp luminaires for commercial, industrial and public lighting as referred to in this Standard are the luminaires excluding those stated below. a) The luminaires specified in Remarks 2 in clause 1 of JIS C 8105-3. b) Movable luminaires, road and street luminaires, and projectors. c) Apparatus that uses compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp
