Scope: This standard specifies the scope, product classification and labeling, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of plastic-coated composite steel pipes for water supply (hereinafter referred to as plastic-coated steel pipes). This standard is applicable to plastic-coated steel pipes with a nominal size not larger than DN1200 for transporting drinking water. Plastic-coated steel pipes with a nominal size larger than DN1200 or for transporting other media fluids can refer to this standard.
