Scope
This document is intended as a reference to current best practices for a given aerospace project. It can be used as a guide for the creation and negotiation of the project management specification between a customer and a supplier and can therefore be used to create the project management plan. This document may be used for any project that involves multiple stakeholders at different levels. In particular, for large projects, it contains the relevant specifications that are recommended for handling a project according to the following points (see Figure 1): Project organization, project structure plan, phase division and planning, risk management, configuration management, documentation management, interfaces with other areas of responsibility, project monitoring and - control, technical performance control, cost control, schedule control, resource management, quality assurance, project completion. Figure 1 - Document organization The terminology used is explained in Section 4. It is limited to defining the context in which potentially ambiguous terms are used. This terminology largely includes terms that are already defined in various normative documents, preferably in international standards.
