- This standard specifies the use of horizontal combustion to determine the combustion performance of foamed plastics. This standard is applicable to evaluate the horizontal combustion performance of a small foam sample with a density less than 250kg/m3 measured in accordance with ISO 845:1985 under a small flame under laboratory conditions. This standard does not serve as the basis for assessing the fire hazard under actual use conditions.
