- This standard specifies the requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging and storage of non-asbestos fiber reinforced rubber sheets for marine gaskets (hereinafter referred to as rubber sheets). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of gasket materials for sealing of ship piping systems with working temperature not higher than 350°C and nominal pressure not higher than 4.0MPa such as gas, water, steam, oil, medium acid and alkali. Sealing materials for other equipment and pipelines can also be used as a reference.
