Scope: This document specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of non-asbestos fiber reinforced rubber pad materials for marine use. This document is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of non-asbestos gasket materials for the sealing of ship piping systems with working temperature not higher than 350 °C and nominal pressure not higher than 4.0 MPa, such as gas, water, water vapor, oil, medium acid and alkali, etc. . Non-asbestos sealing materials for other equipment and pipelines can also be used as a reference.
