Scope: This standard specifies the classification, code, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transportation and storage of fiberglass air duct base fabrics (hereinafter referred to as air duct base fabrics). This standard is applicable to fabrics made of continuous glass fiber yarns through net weaving and impregnation processes, which are used as base fabrics for air ducts with rubber, plastic or rubber-plastic mixture as coating layers. Other types of fabrics, such as glass fiber and cotton yarn interwoven cloth, synthetic fiber cloth, etc. can also be used as a reference.
