Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of geographical indication products, the basic principles and general requirements for formulating standards for geographical indication products. This standard applies to the formulation of standards for geographical indication products approved by the national quality supervision, inspection and quarantine administrative department in accordance with the "Regulations on the Protection of Geographical Indication Products".
