Scope: This part of GB/T 7672 specifies the requirements for temperature index 200, impregnated glass fiber-clad copper round wire and impregnated glass fiber-wrapped enamelled round copper wire with grade 1 or grade 2 paint film thickness. The impregnating varnishes can be, for example, polyesterimide or silicone varnishes. Enameled wire should be based on one of the following standards: GB/T 6109.20-2008 or GB/T 6109.22-2008, and should be determined through negotiation between the supplier and the buyer. The temperature index of glass fiber-clad copper round winding wire depends on the type of impregnating varnish used. The impregnating varnish which impregnates the glass filaments preferably has a temperature index of at least 200. The glass fiber wrapping can be: a) single glass fiber wrapping; b) double glass fiber wrapping, the wrapping directions of the two layers of glass filaments are opposite. The nominal diameter range of conductors in this part is as follows: - double glass filaments (GL2) wrapped on bare conductors: from 0.500mm to and including 5.000mm; and Grade 1 GL2): from 0.500mm to and including 1.600mm; ——Wrapping glass filaments on enamelled wires with a film thickness of grade 2 (Grade 2 GL1 and Grade 2 GL2): from 0.500mm to and including 5.000mm.
