Scope

This standard specifies methods for marking metal plating and chemical treatments. This standard applies to the identification of electroplating, electroless plating and chemical treatment on metal and non-metal parts. The marking method of aluminum and aluminum alloy surface chemical treatment can refer to the general marking method specified in this standard.
