Scope

This standard specifies the data structure and data content of the track data used when initiating financial transactions. It considers both human and machine, pointing out the minimum requirements for consistency. It includes card layouts, recording techniques, numbering systems and registration procedures, but does not include security requirements. GB/T 17554 specifies the test procedures for ID-1 type cards used to detect the parameters specified in this standard.
