Scope

This standard specifies the classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of kerosene obtained from crude oil or its distillates through different processing techniques. The products covered by this standard are mainly used for lighting, various kerosene burners, solvents and detergents, etc.
