- This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, Inspection rules, markings and packaging. This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of butterfly valves for ship piping systems whose media are seawater, fresh water, air, crude oil and finished products with temperatures not higher than 70°C.
