Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks and packaging of ship pipeline valves and cocks (hereinafter referred to as valves). This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of general valve parts of ships. Pipeline accessories such as filters should also be used as a reference.
