- This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks and packaging of natural cotton yarn (hereinafter referred to as "cotton yarn"). This standard is applicable to the identification of the quality of ring-spun machine-made cotton yarn, not applicable to the identification of the quality of cotton yarn for special purposes.
