Scope: This part specifies the copper-accelerated acetic acid salt spray test method for aluminum and aluminum alloy anodized film. This standard also specifies the method for evaluating the corrosivity of the environment of the salt spray test chamber. This part is applicable to assess the salt spray corrosion resistance of anodic oxide film, and also to compare the process quality of the same anodic oxide film.
